explorative drawings and abstractions of the Yale British Art Museum
Positioning analysis as a form of design, I spent three months studying the Yale British Art Museum by Louis Kahn through hybrid projection systems. The resulting drawings exemplify the hybridization of architectural elements as an analytical and creative action.
My work culminated in a collaboration with another student who was studying the Phillips Exeter Academy Library. Our semester's study and development of our own analytical projection methods manifested in a moving image installation hybridizing the buildings, our work, and the subsequent comparisons and contrasts.
