recollecting home, 2019

A triple-accordion book that develops on my multi-faceted memories of home, identity, and attachment to people and places. The chosen materials echo the nature, food, and smells that I identify with home. The middle accordion has photographs folded and laminated in the paper so as to beg untouched discovery of the handwritten messages between the folds. Dedicated to my Ông Bà Ngoại and Ông Bà Nội.
